Volunteer Opportunity

Afya for Africa offers enriching volunteer opportunities across four key areas: Health, Gender, Education, and Climate Change. Volunteers can choose to contribute for durations ranging from two weeks, three weeks, and four weeks to three months, six months, or even a full year. In the Health sector, volunteers will engage in cancer awareness campaigns, patient support, and the distribution of post-mastectomy bras and prostheses. For Gender, activities include organizing empowerment workshops and advocating for gender equality within local communities. Education-focused volunteers will support vulnerable children by providing educational materials, tutoring, and assisting with uniform distribution. In the Climate Change area, volunteers will participate in environmental conservation projects, such as tree planting, promoting sustainable practices, and educating communities on climate resilience. Each volunteer role is designed to make a tangible impact, whether it’s short-term engagement or a longer commitment. Volunteers will gain hands-on experience, develop valuable skills, and contribute to sustainable development goals while immersing themselves in the rich culture of Kenya.
