Yet, women and girls still face significant barriers and discrimination in various aspects of life, including education, employment, healthcare, and political participation. At Afya for Africa, we are committed to advancing gender equality and empowering women and girls within the target community.

We aim at;

• Providing access to education and training opportunities for women and girls to acquire the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their chosen fields.
• Promoting women's health and reproductive rights by increasing access to healthcare services, family planning, and maternal and child health programs.
• Supporting women's economic empowerment through entrepreneurship training, microfinance initiatives, and access to credit and market opportunities.
• Advocating for gender-sensitive policies and legislation that promote equal rights and opportunities for women and girls in all spheres of life.
